Women in Ministry - Called by God

The Bible teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ gifts and equips in various ways for the work of ministry -- to reach the lost, to perfect the saints, and to teach His disciples to obey His commands.

The following teachings are provided to encourage women who are gifted by Jesus Christ to obediently answer His call and use their gifts for the purpose in which they were given.

We rely on Biblical truth, not tradition.

We challenge believers to rely upon Biblical truths, rather than traditional views, opinions, or doctrines that would suppress or hinder godly women from carrying out the God-given call on their lives.

With support, encouragement, and most importantly, equipped with the Truth of God's Word, women can and should serve in whatever capacity they are called to serve in, with confidence and blessed assurance. With Christ's help and guidance, women can rise above the gender discrimination that exists in the Church today and accomplish what they were called to do, in spite of obstacles, resistance, opposition, or insult.

Believers must recognize and understand that a whole doctrine cannot be built around one verse of Scripture. Rather, each passage or verse must be translated and understood in the context in which it was written, taking into account the culture, as well as the events that took place during the time in which they were written. Each verse must be compared to what the rest of the Bible says on this subject, so that with a thorough understanding of the truth, men and women can serve God side by side, as co-labourers for Christ, just as God intended.
