Unknown Tongues - Part Two

"The words that I speak unto you,
they are spirit, and they are life." -John 6:63

The wisdom of God is found in His Word, the Bible. We are
guided into all truth -John 16:13

and we are given revelation knowledge, by God's Holy Spirit:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. -1 Corinthians 2:12

The answer to every prayer is found in the Word. We are taught to
Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit
-Ephesians 6:18

Therefore, we must pray correctly by taking the

sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
-Ephesians 6:17

and know God's Word, speak God's Word, pray God's Word, for it is part of the

armour of God -Ephesians 6:11

that has been given to us so that we may be able

to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
-Ephesians 6:16

How did Jesus respond to the devil's temptations in the wilderness? The answer is with the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God (see Matthew 4:1-11).

Jesus teaches us that when we pray, we should not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do (see Matthew 6:7-8). We are to pray after this manner:

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Commit yourself to speaking and praying correctly by approaching Almighty God with your mouth filled with His Word! Pray in the name of Jesus, pray His words of Spirit and Life!

Father,
You have given us the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. May we, under the guidance of Your Holy Spirit, correctly approach You with our mouths filled with praise and speaking forth Your Word! When we pray and speak, may we, like Jesus, speak the words that are spirit and life! For I pray and ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
