Finding Answers
"GOD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if
there were any that did understand, that did seek GOD."

Seeking God
Maybe you've reached a point in your life where you have a desire to find out all you can about God. Like many people, though, you may think of Jesus as a religious figure and equate becoming a Christian with joining a church or belonging to a certain religious group. However, inviting Christ into your life and experiencing the peace, joy, and salvation through belief and faith in Him does not fall under any "denomination" -- it's not at all about "religion". The Bible has this to say about religion:
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
-James 1:27 (New International Version)
True religion consists of purity and charity. And if Christianity is not about religious rituals and church attendance, then what's it about? It's about a growing, abiding relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
A person can sit in a church pew every Sunday for their entire life
and still never know God personally...
nor be able to resist the evil temptations of this world.
Finding Answers
Modern society teaches us that feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and hopelessness can be treated and relieved with prescription medication, pyschology, and so on. What many people fail to realize is that when God's standards of goodness and right living are violated, the results are not joy and peace.
The results are those lingering feelings of guilt,
worthlessness, and hopelessness.
