Ask

"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

-Matthew 7:7-8

Wow. Those are amazing promises. No one else can fulfill such promises but Jesus Himself. No matter what circumstances we face in our lives, surrendering them to Jesus is the only way that change can occur.

We must admit that we have tried to take matters into our own hands and in our mere human strength work things out on our own, but we have to realize that it's impossible. Even our best efforts will never bring about real change. That's why we need Jesus in our lives.

It is such a wonderful privilege that we are able to bring every issue to Him in prayer, in total honesty, releasing it to Him and watching Him work wonders.

And He truly does. Thank You, Jesus.
